Review: Esurance Express Lane
How it works
It’s pretty simple, really. Just head to the Express Lane site and enter your zip code. Then you’ll enter your name, date of birth and address into the form. Esurance will scan records at the Department of Motor Vehicles and other resources to find vehicles registered at your given address.
It’s not necessarily an exact science. For instance, if you live in an apartment unit, Esurance might find several vehicles that may have belonged to former residents. However, Express Lane can be the perfect tool for those who want a quick quote but don’t want to mess with locating their vehicle documentation.
A good thing to note is that If you don’t want to put give out your information, Esurance gives you the option to enter in your vehicle’s details yourself from the get-go.
Once Esurance locates your vehicle(s), all you have to do is fill out information on your driving habits and additional drivers as well as answer a few questions. Then, you’ll receive your quote, along with a breadown of the details of the quote. From there, you can open a new Esurance policy by calling the toll-free number or clicking the “continue online” button.
Overall, Express Lane is a quick, simple process for the fast-paced auto owner.
