7 Comments | Twitter | |

Hey there! Ready to meet another member of the Credit Karma team? Last time, we introduced you to Chelsea, our amazing Office Coordinator. Today, meet Musab, one of our awesome IT Support Engineers.

Musab is looking forward to this year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He sounds pretty sure that Spain is going home with the cup. Maybe we need to start a bet. Want to learn more about Musab? Read on!

The Interview

What’s your title at Credit Karma?
IT Support Engineer.

Describe in 25 words or less what you do.
I take care of all IT related issues at Credit Karma.

How long have you worked at CK?
I’ve been here a little over six months.

What’s your favorite thing about working at CK?
Almost everything but to name a few: best IT team I have ever worked with, friendly environment, work outings and of course our brand new office!

What’s your favorite snack in the CK kitchen?
Kimchi noodles, Snapeas and Kit Kats.

What is something your coworkers probably don’t know about you?
Most of the people at CK don’t know where I am originally from. So here is my brief history:
I was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, UAE. My parents are from Karachi, Pakistan and my grandparents are from Gujrat, India. I speak Gujrati, Hindi, Urdu, English and a little bit of Arabic.

What was your worst subject in elementary school?
I loved just about every subject, but I hated homework. I just wanted to play after school.

What’s a secret (or not-so-secret) talent you have?
People say I have a very calming and soothing voice. I usually sing Arabic poems that I learned in school to my kid every night before he goes to sleep. I’m too shy to do it in public though.

If you could pick any superhero power, what would it be and why?
I’d want to be like Iron Man because he’s a genius, billionaire and philanthropist. I can be normal whenever I want to be, yet help people whenever I can.

What’s your best credit/money tip?
Don’t over-spend, pay your credit card in full each month and keep track of your credit score by using Credit Karma’s free services.

Want to meet more members of the Credit Karma team?

Meet Ezra, Jonathan, Cathy, Greg, Danielle, Jason, Andrew, Ian, Juan, Igor, Alex, Henry, Hok, Helen, Dan, Keith, Chris, Elaine, Rob, Ishan, Travis, Riley, and Chelsea!

Interested in joining our team? Check out all of our open positions!

Stay tuned as we continue to reveal the nerds behind Credit Karma!

I wish I could speak as many languages as Musab,

is a Member Support Specialist at Credit Karma. She spends her free time reading, devouring desserts and talking to her slightly deaf cat, Pusho. When she’s not doing those things, she is dreaming about doing them.

  3. I signed up for karma for my husband and I and I was very disappointed I got scammed by the people that is linked to the site( Scoresence) took me for 60. Because I thought they were part of your site. I called them and they argued that they were not part of your site but they have a link attached so lesson learned 60.00 out of my pocket It is pitifully that company’s prey on people with bad credit . I recommend Karma to a lot of people but now I have a different story to tell.
