  1. i asked citi bank to forgo last january mortgage payment. the rep on the phoone says sure you’ve been on time your whole loan (20+ yrs)no problem. being as it is late in the month, just cancel your payment this 1 time and continue in february 2010. february comes around and yes i’m told i’m late. january’s payment. called and was told the rep had no authority Fannie mae. blah blah.numerous contacts later citi has removed the recorded contact with the original rep and has put us on a monthly late plan. comptroller says i probably deserve it, after they took the maximum time to reply. now on top citi has screwed my credit so i cant even put the debt on a card and monthly late fees every month. where to go to now? what to do to fix this? please help
